Better Co-Being App Terms of Use
Introduction
The Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai, Japan (hereinafter, the “Expo”), themed
on “Designing Future Society for Our Lives,” aims to showcase to the
world “Society 5.0,” Japan’s initiative toward realizing a sustainable
society, and to share it with people around the world and pass it on
to the next era by serving as “People’s Living Lab, a laboratory for a
future society.” Assenting to these visions of the Expo, Obayashi
Corporation (hereinafter, “we,” “us,” “our,” or other relevant
designations as appropriate) actively supports and participates in it.
As one of our specific initiatives, we are sponsoring the Signature
Pavilion “Better Co-Being,” which is a thematic project focusing on
data utilization, as a Gold Partner, and providing a service
(hereinafter, the “Service”) through a web application (hereinafter,
the “App”) to support its users’ experience in the Better Co-Being
Pavilion and at the Expo site as a whole.
These Terms of Use set forth the terms of use and other details of the
Service (hereinafter, the “Terms of Use”).
Article 1 Scope of Application

The use of the Service is subject to the Terms of Use. Any
individual who starts or continues to use the Service will be deemed
to have agreed to the Terms of Use each time they use the Service.

In addition to the Terms of Use, any explanations, guidelines,
policies, precautions, and other individual terms, conditions, etc.
regarding the Service, which may be published on the App from time
to time, shall be deemed to be part of the Terms of Use.
Article 2 Definitions
The definitions of terms used in the Terms of Use are as follows.

The term “user” refers to an individual who uses the Service upon
agreeing to the Terms of Use.
-
The term “Expo ID” refers to an ID used to identify an individual
using a linked service that is compatible with authentication based
on the ICT-PF (hereinafter, the “Expo ICT-PF”) provided by the Japan
Association for the 2025 World Exposition (hereinafter, the “Expo
Association”), when applying for or using the linked service.
-
The term “linked service” refers to, among services developed and
provided by the Expo Association or various organizations for the
Expo, a service that uses Expo IDs as an authentication method.
-
The term “user account” refers to an account for the Service
assigned to a user (login account or one-time account) when the user
starts using the App.
-
The term “login account” refers to a user account that is assigned
to a user who has started using the App through authentication with
an Expo ID, and that may be used continuously during the Expo
period.
-
The term “one-time account” refers to a user account that is
assigned to a user who has started using the App by choosing
one-time login, and that may be used only once while the App is
running.
-
The term “registration information” refers to the information that
is provided to us through the App by a user registering with the App
(profile image, self-introduction statement, nickname, user ID, and
account ID automatically assigned to identify the individual user).
-
The term “user ID” refers to, among the items of registration
information, an ID that the user can freely set for the App within
the bounds prescribed by us.
-
The term “credentials” refers to a combination of an Expo ID and a
password used to verify the identity of an Expo ID registrant, as
prescribed in the Expo ID Terms of Use, and a user identification ID
provided by the Expo ICT-PF to the relevant linked service after
verifying the identity of the same individual.

The term “posted information (or “information posted” as
appropriate)” refers to any information (such as photographs and
text) posted by the user when using the Service, irrespective of
whether it is open to the public or private, as well as the meta
information, etc. of such posted information.
-
The term “antisocial force” refers to an organized crime group, a
member of an organized crime group, an individual who has not yet
passed five (5) years since they ceased to be a member of an
organized crime group, a quasi-member of an organized crime group, a
company associated with an organized crime group, a corporate
racketeer or similar, a group engaging in criminal activities under
the pretext of conducting social campaigns, etc., a crime group
specialized in intellectual crimes, etc., an individual designated
by the Japanese government as subject to economic sanctions, or any
other person equivalent to any of these.
Article 3 Agreement to the Terms of Use
-
Each user may use the Service upon agreeing to the Terms of Use.
-
At the time when the user completes the procedure for agreeing to
the Terms of Use, a contract for use of the Service in accordance
with the provisions of the Terms of Use shall be deemed to have been
formed between the user and us.
-
If the user is a minor, the user shall use the Service with the
consent of a person holding parental authority or other legal
representative obtained. Furthermore, upon request from us for
confirmation of whether the consent of the legal representative has
been obtained, the user shall take measures to clarify the presence
of the legal representative’s consent by providing an explanation,
submitting a document, or other means requested by us.

If a minor user uses the Service under false pretenses of having the
consent of the legal representative or having reached the age of
majority, or if a minor user employs other fraudulent means to make
it appear that they have full legal capacity, any juridical acts
conducted in relation to the Service may not be revoked.
-
If a user who was a minor at the time of agreeing to the Terms of
Use uses the Service after having reached the age of majority, the
user shall be deemed to have ratified all juridical acts conducted
in relation to the Service.
Article 4 Opening, etc. of an Account
-
After agreeing to the Terms of Use, the user can start using the App
through login authentication with their Expo ID or one-time login,
and can complete the opening of a user account by registering the
necessary information.
-
For login authentication with an Expo ID, a single sign-on function
(hereinafter, “SSO”) is used. The information that we obtain from
the Expo Association through SSO will be used only for login
authentication to the App, and any information not necessary for
authentication will be discarded immediately after it is obtained.
-
The login account will become unusable for the Service at the time
the user executes the withdrawal procedure from the Service as
prescribed in Article 5. Furthermore, the one-time account will no
longer be usable for the Service once the user logs out of the App
that they started using through one-time login.
-
The user shall comply with the following matters in using the
Service.
-
The user must not allow any third party to use the App with the
user’s registration information. Furthermore, we assume no
responsibility for any detriment or damage caused to the user
due to any third party’s unauthorized use of registration
information or other similar act (including, but not limited to,
indirect damage, special damage, accidental damage,
consequential damage, and other monetary losses, and including
the case where we have been made aware of the possibility of
such damage; the same applies hereinafter).

The user shall use their user account in accordance with the
guidance, instructions, etc. on the App.
-
If the login account has been terminated or suspended by us in
accordance with the provisions of the Terms of Use, the user
will not be able to create a new account. In addition, if the
user’s one-time account is terminated or suspended by us in
accordance with the provisions of the Terms of Use, the user
will be prohibited from creating a new account.
-
The user must not engage in any acts that may threaten the
security of the user account or other fraudulent acts. If any
such act is committed, we may terminate or suspend the user
account immediately or at a time determined by us in accordance
with the provisions of Article 9.
-
Except as otherwise prescribed in the Terms of Use, the rights
of use and suspension of the user account and all other rights
regarding the user account shall belong exclusively to the user
who registered the user account. The user may not transfer or
lend such rights to any third party or have any third party
succeed to such rights.
-
Each user is limited to one login account. A user may not
possess or use multiple login accounts, and an account may not
be shared, used jointly, or otherwise used similarly by multiple
users.
-
Any person who falls under the category of antisocial forces may
not create a user account.
-
If a minor, an adult ward, or a person under curatorship or
assistantship uses the Service, the consent of a legal
representative (such as that of a person holding parental
authority) is required before opening a user account in relation
to any use of the Service (including consenting to the Terms of
Use). If it is found that such consent has not been obtained,
the user account may be terminated or suspended in accordance
with the provisions of Article 9.

The user account will no longer be usable after the Expo period has
ended.
Article 5 Withdrawal
A user who has been assigned a login account may withdraw from the
Service through the withdrawal procedure on the settings screen of the
App or by submitting an inquiry form from the inquiry screen of the
App.
Article 6 Use of the Service
-
We may, at our own discretion, temporarily suspend or refuse a
user’s use of the Service, taking into consideration the user’s
usage status, etc. of the Service.
-
The Service is only available within Japan. Users may not use the
Service outside of Japan.
-
Any person who falls under the category of antisocial forces is not
allowed to use the Service.
-
When a user uses the Service, we collect the user’s personal
information in accordance with the separately established Better
Co-Being App Privacy Policy. If the user refuses to provide their
personal information, the user may not be able to use all or part of
the Service.
-
When using the App on a mobile device, the user must pay close
attention to the surroundings, such as passers-by, other third
parties, and road accessories, and must act in a manner that
protects the safety of themselves and third parties, and that does
not cause damage such as breakage of any structures, constructions,
or buildings. In addition, users should refrain from operating the
App while walking or driving.
Article 7 Management of Credentials

Each user who uses a login account shall manage their credentials in
accordance with the Expo ID Terms of Use.
-
In the event of leakage of credentials, unauthorized access, etc.
through no fault of our own, we assume no responsibility for any
damage caused to the relevant user, and deem even third-party use to
be legitimate use by the user. In such case, if any damage is caused
to other users or us, the same user shall compensate for the damage.
-
If a user using a login account has their credentials known by a
third party, or if it is suspected that the credentials of such user
are used by a third party, the user shall take appropriate action in
accordance with the Expo ID Terms of Use.
-
We assume no responsibility for any detriment suffered by the user,
such as their inability to use the Service, due to the user’s
failure to take action as set forth in the preceding paragraph.
Article 8 Loss of Devices and Unauthorized Use of User
Account
-
Users shall be responsible for properly managing the security of the
devices on which they use the App, such as by setting a password.
-
Even if a user account is used in an unauthorized manner due to
theft, loss, hacking, etc. of a device, we reserve the right to deem
such use to have been conducted by the user associated with the user
account. Accordingly, we are not, in connection with any damage
caused as a result of such use, under any obligation to take any
measures necessary to deter or prevent such unauthorized use, and
assume no responsibility for such damage.
Article 9 Termination and Suspension of User Account

If any of the following items apply to a user, we may terminate or
suspend the user account of the user immediately or at a time
determined by us:
-
where we determine that the user has violated the Terms of Use;
- where the user provides false information;
-
where the user improperly uses any information provided by us;
or
-
in other cases where we deem the user’s use of the Service to be
inappropriate.
-
We assume no responsibility for any damage, etc. caused to the user
due to the termination or suspension of their account, irrespective
of the reason for such termination or suspension.
Article 10 Intellectual Property Rights, Use Rights, etc.
of Posted Information
-
Rights to information posted by each user in the use of the Service
shall belong to the author who created such information, relevant
copyright holders, and/or other persons with legitimate rights.
-
With regard to information posted by using the Service, each user is
deemed to have licensed to us, through their posting, the rights to
use, reproduce, edit, reorganize, publish, reprint, publicly
transmit, distribute, sell, provide, transfer, lend, translate,
adapt, or otherwise use in a similar manner such posted information
and any rights of the original author in connection with the
exploitation of derivative works (meaning all the rights prescribed
in Articles 21 through 28 of the Copyright Act, and including
commercial use), both inside and outside Japan, free of charge, and
on a non-exclusive basis. Any rights licensed by each user shall
include the right of sublicensing such rights to third parties by
us. Furthermore, the user shall not exercise any moral rights of
authors against us or any third party sublicensed by us.

Each user shall guarantee that the user has all rights under the
Copyright Act in connection with information posted by the user
using the Service, including the rights to reproduce, publicly
transmit, distribute, translate, and adapt such information, and
must not post any information to which the user does not have such
rights.
-
When a user makes a post using any third-party work, etc., it is
assumed that the user has, on their own responsibility and at their
own expense, arranged the rights necessary for the licensing under
the preceding paragraphs (including the arrangement of rights
necessary for the user to grant a license to us, as well as for us
to grant sublicenses to third parties).
-
The provisions of the preceding four paragraphs shall remain in
effect even after the user has stopped using the Service.
-
Among the individual items of registration information registered by
each user, the profile image, self-introduction statement, and
nickname shall follow the provisions of the preceding paragraphs
except for paragraph 2.
Article 11 Content of Posted Information and Its
Preservation and Guarantee
-
The Service does not guarantee the integrity, accuracy, usefulness,
or any other aspect of the content of any user’s posted information.
-
The Service does not guarantee that any user’s posted information is
saved securely. Furthermore, we may delete or discard posted
information at our own discretion.
-
Even if the user account of a user is terminated or suspended, it
does not necessarily mean that the user’s posted information will be
deleted or discarded from the Service.
Article 12 Prohibition of Inappropriate Posts, etc.
-
Each user is prohibited from making any post that actually or
potentially falls under any of the following items:
-
where the post contains any photograph of the inside of a
private home or any photograph of a place which is not open to
the public or in which photography is prohibited;
-
where, from the perspective of privacy protection, the post
contains any photograph of a specific individual as a
photographic subject or any text from which a specific
individual is identifiable;
- where the post is contrary to public order or morals;
-
where the post violates any laws, any court rulings, decisions,
or orders, or any legally-binding administrative measures;
-
where the post is or may be linked to any crimes (including acts
of prior announcement, involvement, encouragement, solicitation,
abetment, or aiding in connection with any crime);
-
where the post infringes on any intellectual property rights,
including ownership rights, copyrights, and trademarks, portrait
rights, publicity rights, or other rights of ours, other users’,
or third parties’ (including individuals, groups, organizations,
etc., as well as the Expo Association);
-
where the post contains any of the following expressions or
content and consequently causes detriment or discomfort to other
users or third parties: excessively violent expressions,
explicit sexual expressions, expressions equivalent to child
pornography or child abuse, expressions leading to
discrimination on the grounds of race, nationality, creed,
gender, social status, family origin, etc., expressions that
induce or encourage suicide, acts of self-injury, or drug abuse,
or other antisocial content;

where the post contains any personal information of a third
party;
-
where the post libels or defames other users or third parties
(including individuals, groups, organizations, etc., as well as
the Expo Association and us);
-
where the post causes any detriment or damage to other users or
third parties (including individuals, groups, organizations,
etc., as well as the Expo Association and us);
-
where the post damages the reputation, credibility, or brand
image of any third parties (including individuals, groups,
organizations, etc., as well as the Expo Association and us);
-
where the post is intended for sales, publicity, advertising,
solicitation, or other profit-making purposes;
-
where the purpose of the post is to solicit participants in
religious activities or new members into religious
organizations, or to conduct other similar acts;
-
where the post is deemed to have an adverse impact on minors;
- where the post seeks to repeatedly post the same content;
-
where the post seeks to send or post any harmful program,
script, etc.;
- where the post is fraudulent or false;
-
where the post concerns any personal complaint or problem;
-
where the post seeks to publish information irrelevant to the
purpose of the Service;
-
where the post requests the dissemination of information to
third parties;
-
where the post places an excessive load on the network, system,
etc. of the Service;
- where the post impersonates a third party;
-
where the post leads to the provision of any benefits to any
antisocial forces, etc.;
- where the post violates the Terms of Use;
-
where the post conflicts with the significance of hosting the
Expo (see below); or

in other cases where we find the post to be inappropriate for
some reason such as interfering with our service.
-
In the event a post that falls under any of the items of the
preceding paragraph is made, we will examine the situation and take
appropriate action, such as deleting the posted information,
suspending its publication, and/or terminating or suspending the
user account of the user, and the user shall not raise any
objections to such action.
-
Registration information registered by each user (meaning the
profile image, self-introduction statement, and nickname) shall
follow the provisions of the preceding two paragraphs.
Article 13 Publication of Registration Information and
Posted Information
The information that is set forth in the following items and is
registered or posted by each user on the Service will be made public
on the App. Registration and posting of information from which a
specific individual can be identified, including the person who
registers or posts such information, is prohibited. Furthermore, the
following registration information or posted information may be
provided to third parties or made available to the public.

Profile image, self-introduction statement, user ID, and nickname
- Posted information (photographs and text)
- The date on which a specific photograph was taken
-
Information on the location where a specific photograph was taken
Article 14 Handling of Personal Information
-
We handle personal information obtained through the Service
appropriately in accordance with the separately established Better
Co-Being App Privacy Policy.
-
In accordance with the Act on the Protection of Personal Information
and other related laws, we have formulated safety management
measures and have thereby established an appropriate system of
security measures.
-
We may outsource all or part of the handling of obtained personal
information to external parties to the extent necessary to achieve
the purpose of use set forth in the separately established Better
Co-Being App Privacy Policy.
Article 15 Utilization of Obtained Information Through
Statistical Processing
We may utilize for our related businesses, or provide to third
parties, users’ registration information and posted information that
are obtained through the operation of the Service and that contain
personal Information, after having statistically processed such
information to prevent the individual users from being identified.
Article 16 Rights to Content Materials
-
All rights to each piece of content provided by us through the
Service including the App (all content including, but not limited
to, text, photographs, designs, logos, and software) (hereinafter
referred to as “rights to content materials”) shall belong to us or
the third parties that hold such rights, and users are entitled to
use only the Service.
-
Users will not obtain any rights to content materials through their
use of the Service.
-
If a dispute arises between a user and a third party regarding any
rights to content materials, the user shall resolve the dispute at
their own expense and on their own responsibility, and must not
cause any inconvenience or damage whatsoever to us.
Article 17 Prohibitions
-
In using the Service or in relation thereto, each user must not
engage in any of the following acts or acts that may amount to any
of the following acts:
-
acts of infringement in relation to the reputation, credibility,
brands, rights (including, but not limited to, claims against
third parties, intellectual property rights, privacy, publicity
rights, portrait rights, etc.), or property of ours, third
parties’, etc.;
-
act of using any expressions that cause discomfort to others on
a racial, ethnic, or religious basis, indecent expressions,
discriminatory expressions, or other inappropriate expressions;
acts contrary to public order and morals; or acts causing
discomfort to others in a general sense;
-
acts of transmitting, posting, collecting, or disclosing
third-party personal information;
-
acts that are linked to any crimes (including acts of prior
announcement, involvement, encouragement, solicitation,
abetment, or aiding in connection with any crime);
-
political or religious activities within the Service, other acts
similar to these, or acts of soliciting new members into
political or religious organizations;
-
acts of impersonating any person related to us, third party,
etc.;
-
acts of impeding the operation of the Service, such as
unauthorized access or sending large amounts of information to,
destroying, or tampering with any third-party equipment or
equipment prepared for the operation of the Service;
-
acts of transmitting or distributing any harmful computer
programs, such as viruses, to us, third parties, etc.;
-
acts of modifying, reverse-engineering, or analyzing any
programs, etc.; acts of creating, distributing, using, etc.
utilities (including, but not limited to, external tools that
improperly manipulate the results of the Service, such as bots
and cheat tools); or acts of using the results of any of those
acts conducted by any third party, etc. for the user’s own
purpose;

acts of intentionally providing or disclosing information on any
discovered failures to any third party, etc. (excluding reports
to us);
-
acts of interfering with our business by making false
statements; acts of forcing us, third parties, etc. to do
anything not based on obligation or reason; or acts of making
demands by using violent language or behavior;
-
acts of fraudulently manipulating the results of using the
Service;
-
acts of frequently and repeatedly creating user accounts;為
-
acts of exploiting any failure in the Service for the user’s own
benefit or to cause detriment to any third party, etc.; or acts
of abetting, soliciting, advising, or aiding any third party,
etc. to commit such an exploiting act;
-
acts of cooperation/involvement with any antisocial forces, or
acts of soliciting new members into antisocial forces;
-
acts of posting any photographs taken outside the Expo site or
outside the Expo opening hours;
- acts of violating the Terms of Use;
-
acts of violation of any laws, any court rulings, decisions, or
orders, or any legally-binding administrative measures; or
- other acts that we deem inappropriate.

If a user violates the provisions of the preceding paragraph, we
may, in addition to terminating or suspending the user account,
request the user to take reasonable recovery measures, such as
restoration of damage suffered by us, third parties, etc. due to the
violation, and/or returning or correcting any profits that the user
has unjustly obtained. We may determine the specific details of such
recovery measures at our own discretion.
Article 18 Suspension of the Service
-
We may suspend the provision of all or part of the Service if any of
the following items applies and, in such case, assume no
responsibility for damage, if any, suffered by users or third
parties:
-
in the case where the maintenance or inspection of the App is
performed;
-
in the case where the provision of the Service becomes
impossible due to a force majeure event such as fire, power
outage, natural disaster, war, civil commotion, riot,
disturbance, or labor dispute;
-
in the case where the provision of the Service becomes
impossible due to any communication device’s failure,
unauthorized access thereto, its infection with a computer
virus, or other similar cause (including cases where the cause
is unknown);
-
in the case where it is necessary to do so in compliance with
laws, administrative disposition or direction, etc.;
-
in the case where we find that the continuance of provision of
the App may expose users or third parties to certain damage,
such as tampering of data associated with the App or hacking; or
-
in other cases where we reasonably find such suspension
unavoidable.
-
If we are to suspend the Service pursuant to the preceding
paragraph, we will notify users to that effect in advance by an
appropriate method, except in urgent cases.
Article 19 Modification and Discontinuance of the Service
-
We may, at our own discretion, change, add, or delete the content,
functions, etc. of the Service at any time.
-
We may discontinue the Service at our own discretion at any time.
-
If we are to change or discontinue any important function of the
Service, we will make such change or discontinuance known by
displaying a notice to that effect on the App or by other means, and
such change or discontinuance shall be deemed to have been made
known when such display or use of other means takes place.

We assume no responsibility for any damage caused as a result of any
of the measures set out in the preceding paragraphs.
Article 20 Disclaimers
-
With respect to the content of the Service and any information, etc.
that users obtain therethrough, we make no guarantee whatsoever
regarding the authenticity, accuracy, recency, usefulness,
reliability, or legality of such content, information, etc.,
regarding whether such content, information, etc. do not infringe on
any third-party rights, and regarding other similar matters
concerning such content, information, etc.

The Service is provided on an as-is basis, and we make no guarantee
that there are no factual or legal defects (including defects,
errors, bugs, and infringement of rights in relation to safety,
reliability, accuracy, effectiveness, security, etc.), or that there
will be no unauthorized access from third parties to our systems,
etc.
-
Without prior notice or any other procedure, the Service may be
changed, its provision may be interrupted, suspended, or
discontinued, and/or new restrictions may be imposed on the use of
the Service. Even if any user suffers damage, etc. as a result of
any of these actions, we assume no responsibility for such damage.
-
We assume no responsibility for any damage, etc. caused to any user
in the event where the Service cannot be provided in whole or in
part due to any defects, malfunctions, or failures in the App or its
communication network, or due to use of the App or its communication
network not in line with the prescribed manner of use.
-
We assume no responsibility for any detriment or damage caused to
any user as a result of the user’s failure to enter accurate
registration information for the Service.
-
With respect to published information posted on the Service by any
user, we assume no responsibility for any damage caused to the user
as a result of any third party’s transfer, editing, use,
reproduction, reprinting, forwarding, etc. of such information in
violation of Article 10 of the Terms of Use, or otherwise as a
result of any third party’s infringement of any rights of the
relevant legitimate right holder.

We assume no responsibility for any dispute arising between a user
and a third party in relation to the Service, or for damage caused
to a user due to a third party’s action in relation to the Service.
-
In the event where we incur any expenses, or pay any damages, etc.,
in relation to our handling of any complaints or claims arising from
or associated with a user’s violation of the Terms of Use, the user
shall bear such expenses, damages, etc. (including any attorney fees
paid by us).

Our liability shall be limited to the extent set out in the
provisions of the Terms of Use.

In addition to the provisions of the preceding paragraphs, even
where any user suffers damage due to the App or the Service, we will
compensate the user only to the extent of damage that would normally
be caused to a user, except when the damage concerned is caused
intentionally by us or by our gross negligence.
Article 21 Technology and Resources Used

The Service uses a Google Maps API to display maps. By using the
Service, its users become subject to
the Google Terms of Service.
-
The Service uses Cloud Translation, a Google translation service,
for the machine translation of users’ posts. Google disclaims all
warranties, express or implied, regarding translations (including
any warranties of precision and reliability, and any implied
warranties of merchantability, fitness for specific purposes, and
non-infringement of third-party rights). We assume no responsibility
for the performance of its translation function, the accuracy of its
translation results, or any damage or loss resulting from its

The Service uses materials and sound sources distributed by
OtoLogic
for the sounds used during filming.
Article 22 Revision of the Terms of Use
-
We reserve the right to revise the Terms of Use when deeming it
necessary, and each user is required to agree to that effect in
advance.

If we are to revise the Terms of Use pursuant to the provisions of
the preceding paragraph, we will make known the revision details of
the Terms of Use and the effective date of the revised Terms of Use,

By continuing to use the Service after the Terms of Use have been
changed, the user shall be deemed to have agreed to the changed
Terms of Use. If the user does not agree to the details of such

Article 23 Survival of the Terms of Use
The Terms of Use shall remain in effect even after the discontinuation
of the Service, except for the provisions thereof regarding users’ use
of the Service.
Article 24 Severability
Even if any provision of, or part of any provision of, the Terms of
Use is determined to be void or unenforceable under the Consumer
Contract Act or other laws, etc., the remaining provisions of the
Terms of Use and the remaining part of the provision determined to be
partially void or unenforceable shall continue to be in full force and
effect.
Article 25 Consultation, Jurisdictional Court, and
Governing Law

If any question or problem arises between a user and us in
connection with the operation of the Service, the user and we shall
consult with each other in good faith and strive to resolve the
question or problem on each occasion.

For any question or problem remaining unresolved after the
consultation defined in the preceding paragraph, the Tokyo District
Court shall be the exclusive, agreed jurisdictional court of first
instance.

The Terms of Use shall be governed by and construed in accordance
with the laws of Japan.

from the Service, or if you visit a fake website, do not reply to
the email/short message or enter any information on the website;
instead, contact us by using the inquiry form under the preceding

any user as a result of the user’s inaccurate or false
communication.

When communicating with a user, we give notice to or contact the
user by email to the email address registered by the user at the
time of filing an inquiry. We assume no responsibility for any
detriment suffered by any user, such as the user’s inability to
receive any services, etc. from us, due to the user’s failure to
check notifications or communications or failure to provide accurate
contact information. Each communication, notification, etc. based on
the Terms of Use shall be deemed to have reached the user upon the
sending of the relevant email.
In the event of any discrepancy between the Japanese and English
versions of the Terms of Use, the Japanese version shall take
precedence.
